ruminating

Webster says:
Main Entry: ru·mi·nate
Function: verb
Inflected Form(s): ru·mi·nat·ed; ru·mi·nat·ing
transitive verb 1 : to go over in the mind repeatedly and often casually or slowly
2 : to chew repeatedly for an extended period
i find it very useful (and sometimes a little insane) to go over a thing many, many times, looking very closely at it to ensure all of its inner workings register in my mind. i always feel the need to UNDERSTAND in order to move forward. i've become less of a 'leap before you look' person and have moved more towards 'think long and hard about the inevitable drop'... anyone else have this problem?

Occasionally...but I always get to a point where I go crazy and do something purely on impulse to counteract it.

You're normal.

We're women, it's in our nature to think and think and think. I spend my time ruminating on stupid stuff, like spending a psycho amount of time picking out socks.

Re: the boots. The style of mine is called the Michael Kors Emily. There are several pairs on ebay, but not for the ridiculous price I got, but still <$150. Also on my hunt I came across the Donald Pliner Derry boot. Google turns up a few stockists for the derry boot too.
